Additional Information
PCRBIO Taq DNA Polymerase
PCRBIO Taq DNA Polymerase is a powerful enzyme for all your daily PCR applications, including typing, screening, and library construction. PCRBIO Taq DNA Polymerase performs well across various sample types, including GC and AT-rich samples. PCRBIO Taq DNA Polymerase has 5’-3’ exonuclease activity, but no 3’-5’ (proofreading) activity. The enzyme has an error rate comparable to wild-type taq DNA polymerase, approximately 1 error per 2.0 x 105 nucleotides incorporated. PCRBIO Taq DNA Polymerase provides the research community with an all-purpose polymerase at an affordable price, meeting the highest standards possible, with flexibility allowing you to amplify with the highest speed, performance, specificity, and consistency in the market. The resulting PCR product is A-tailed and can be cloned into TA cloning vectors. The enzyme is manufactured using an advanced 12-step purification strategy, involving the removal of host DNA using physical, chemical, and enzymatic methods. For added convenience, PCRBIO Taq DNA Polymerase is available as a ready-to-use 2x mix, containing all reaction components except primers and template. PCRBIO Taq Mix Red contains a red dye suitable for direct loading and tracking during agarose gel electrophoresis.
